Drove one hour to try this little pub out, as it was recommended to me by a friend. We got there relatively late, 40 mins to close as they close at 7, however the staff was friendly and served us with no issues, which I appreciated. We ordered spinach dip and cheese wontons to start. Never heard of cheese wontons in my life, but my partner ate them all within 30 seconds and left me one (says they’re the best appetizer she’s ever had) and we’ve been to a lot of places, lol. Spin dip was great too. I had the burger with the Chili cheese fry’s, which I will say was a tasty combination. She had salad which I guess was tasty too, certainly looked it. Overall, the service we received was outstanding and the patrons here were very friendly as well which made it a really enjoyable evening. I’ll be here to eat in the near future. If you’re looking for a nice, unique spot to eat, I would strongly consider coming here as you won’t be disappointed :)

This place is a must visit! The fish and chips, wings and Caesar salad were so delicious. They offered large portions, perfect for those who had/have a busy day exploring the river. Last time we visited, I had the burger and it was also outstanding. After we ordered, we brought our drinks out to the patio to take in the beauty which seemed to be all around us. Throughout our meal, we continued to enjoy views of the Miramichi which paired perfectly with the friendly staff. Between the food, atmosphere, drinks, uniqueness and welcoming charm, they have created a space set up to only provide a positive experience for its guests. Also, their Inn right beside the restaurant looked cozy, well kept and perfectly placed for travelers hoping to experience the beauty and unique serenity of this area. We can’t wait to come back soon, but in the evening to experience the liveliness and comfort of the fire pits, string lights and tables on their patio. Cheers!

Great place to eat love the wings my main was steak and Fried potatoes And carrots good but the potatoes was a little greasy, other than that everything was great the staff was friendly and great Atmosphere, love the outdoors feeling

We always have a great dining experience at the Lower Ledge! Service is wonderful! Food is fabulous! And the view is always amazing! Tonight we had the steak dinner with mashed potatoes and carrots. It was cooked to perfection. The carrots were so fresh! We also had the home made chicken tenders. They were tender and coated with a delicious seasoning. Fries were piping HOT and coleslaw tasted like creamy homemade. We also had our favorite app - Havarti Cheese Wontons!! Crispy and delicious! They offer lots of cocktails, beer, craft beer and choices of wine. View of the Miramichi River is always amazing! Great spot for a stop if you're out on the trails too! Recommend this place for the view, great friendly service, wonderful atmosphere and of course - great menu!

As a local, or perhaps a lucky visitor like myself, finding the Lower Ledge Gastropub is a true treat. Situated right on the beautiful Miramichi River, it offers an atmosphere that is both inviting and truly unique. It immediately feels like a place where care and quality are prioritized. The cozy ambiance is immediately noticeable, whether dining indoors or on the outdoor patio with stunning river views. The rustic decor is charming, creating a relaxing environment. Every dish is impressive, though the menu is not extensive. Many of the menu items are truly stand-outs! The service is excellent. Every staff member is friendly, attentive, and efficient. Our server, Grayson, was polite, outgoing, and knowledgeable about the menu. The high quality of food, views, and service makes it all perfection.

I finally got to cross this place off my bucket list but I will definitely go back. Another of New Brunswick's hidden gems. The food is delicious. Super friendly service and great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Check it out.
